White Pine County School District - Nevada TRIP

Nevada TRIP of a Lifetime

What is the Nevada TRIP website and app?

Nevada TRIP is a "gamification-style" website and mobile app where students can log in, choose a unique vehicle avatar, and explore a virtual roadmap filled with educational stops. Each stop features engaging videos available in both English and Spanish, helping students and families understand the transition process one mile at a time.

As students progress through their roadmap, they earn achievement badges for their profiles, turning transition planning into an exciting adventure.

Is this for me?

If you are a student aged 10 to 22 with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a 504 plan, Nevada TRIP was built specifically for you. The platform is designed to help students, parents, and educators collaborate on:

  • Graduating High School: Exploring different diploma options and planning next steps.

  • Postsecondary Success: Navigating the path to college, trade schools, and financial aid.

  • Meaningful Employment: Learning how VR Nevada helps individuals obtain and keep competitive jobs.

  • Greater Independence: Building daily living and self-advocacy skills.

Choose Your Roadmap

Because every journey is different, Nevada TRIP offers two distinct paths:

  • Under 14 Roadmap: Features 8 stops focused on early planning, eligibility for services, and preparing for the jump to high school.

  • 14 and Over Roadmap: A comprehensive 13-stop journey covering everything from Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to specialized resources like assistive technology and transportation.
