Before the holidays our WPMS Leadership team organized a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The fundraising idea was proposed by Olivia Moskoff, who led it with a few of her peers, Jesta Jackson, Alaya Meritt, and Michaelyn Garcia. Leadership was very successful and raised $1686.00!! In response to their donation JDRF sent a video expressing their gratitude, which you can view here!
White Pine Middle School would like to give a big shout out to these amazing students choosing to make a difference and being great examples of leadership! Of course we also want to recognize their Teacher Mrs. Speakman for her excellent guidance.
